Putting a gender lens on your business.

30% Club is an initiative set up in 2010 by Dame Helena Morrissey to promote gender equality at all levels in business. VMLY&R was approached to design a report that was compiled by PwC and produce assets for an awareness event at the London Stock Exchange.

I was asked to take some initial direction - some inspiration, a logo and colour palette - and develop the design for a 50-page report, alongside social assets and supporting visuals for the video screens at the event.

I worked alongside a senior artworker with whom I was able to liaise about various things such as the report length, images that would need editing, how to sub-edit the copy and what would be required for handoff to the printers. We also had to work together on re-formatting the document slightly for digital distribution, to be downloaded and read on-screen.

The report was very well-received by the client - far over and above what they were expecting, given that it was a project undertaken pro bono.
